Events this November & December at Hidden Jen

Hidden Jen is independently owned by 

Jennifer and Grant. 

From the early days in the 90s of working together in bars/clubs in Asia to the less "hedonistic" surrounds of Sevenoaks, Hidden Jen is born and a lifelong dream is realised.

The Bar. Eatery. Social, which is Hidden Jen being aspiration for the couple who want to show that you should always follow your heart and

 never stop believing.

Ethos

It's all about zero waste...or certainly as close as we can get to it.

Our chef orders daily so the majority of produce is sourced locally - meat from ChartFarm Butchers and fish from Chapmans.  Fruit and vegetables, where possible, are from the English countryside 

 from T.H. Brown & Sons.

So, with the kitchen setting a high bar for zero waste, we follow suit behind the bar.  No packets of nuts or crisps in pre-sealed packaging, instead, it's our homemade nut selections, marinated olives and cornichons.  Cans or bottles?  We serve both but our mission is to limit glass use.  Cans require 90% less energy to recycle - so we feel they're a better fit.

Whilst we're not quite there and there's always more to do...Hidden Jen is heading in the right direction.
